Crafter

Crafter ran on an in-house platform that no longer kept up with its growth. There were no advanced customer groups or pricing rules, no loyalty system and no simple connection to internal systems, and every new feature was hard to add.

• We moved the store from the in-house platform to Magento 2.
• We built a loyalty program: customers earn discounts based on their purchases and use them directly on the site.
• We introduced customer groups (retail, wholesale, VIP) with their own discounts, prices, product visibility and promotions.
• We built a theme following the brand identity, for all devices.
• We sped up the site through the frontend and server-side caching and simplified categories and access to technical product data.

• Exchange of product, order and customer data with Crafter’s internal systems.

One Magento 2 store for retail and wholesale customers, with loyalty and customer-specific prices that Crafter manages itself, and a foundation for new features and promotions.
